I decided to join yet another challenge, it seems to be the only way I get things accomplished. ;)

After seeing Eli of Coach Daddy share the #atozchallenge on his blog, I started wondering if maybe I could try my hand at it too and actually start posting here again and see if I enjoy it as much as I used to. It helps to have a little inspiration and as I started thinking of things I could post for each letter of the alphabet, the wheels started turning.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Susi post without any photos, so I’ll be sharing some of my photography in each post.

The posts might not be too long, depending on how much time I have each day but I’ll try to post something everyday.

First up is the letter A.

A is for… alpaca!

While we were on our spring break trip to the Boone area of North Carolina, we decided to visit Apple Hill Farm in Banner Elk. It’s a working alpaca farm and the tour was so interesting. The farm is home to other animals besides alpacas, like chickens, 2 pigs (Laverne and Shirley), some donkeys, a few horses, angora goats, and a few beautiful Pyrenees Mountain Dogs who are there to protect the goats and alpacas.
