D'Annunzio Salad With Dijon Vinaigrette

The last time we had a get-together one of my dear friends brought over this amazing salad. I enjoyed it so much that I asked her for the recipe. It’s so easy to put together and so delicious and filling. I ate it for lunch every day this past week. To say I’m a little obsessed is an understatement. I even made the dijon dressing from scratch and it’s so so good.

The recipe is based on one of the salads from an Italian restaurant chain called Piola Famosi Per La Pizza, there are a few local branches and I think we may have to check it out one of these days since the menu looks pretty good.

Today, as I was preparing my salad, I decided to set up my little homemade photo studio box and pull out my Nikon D7500 with 85mm lens and a light ring and take a few photos of the deliciousness.

The ingredients are simple.

Salad Ingredients:

Spring lettuce mix with spinach, mozzarella pearls, hard-boiled eggs, avocado, hearts of palm, tomatoes, sweet corn, and bean sprouts (I used broccoli sprouts).

Mix everything together in a big serving bowl. Make the dressing and enjoy.

It’s served with a delicious Dijon Mustard dressing.

Dijon Mustard Ingredients:

1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons honey, juice from one lemon, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, one glove minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

Put all the ingredients in a mason jar, shake, shake, shake and pour over your salad.

I promise you you’ll love it!
