L is for Luna #atozchallenge April 2019

L is for Luna. Luna Lovegood that is.

Ally, our youngest, LOVES Harry Potter and read all 7 books by the time she was 8 years old.

I decided that year that we should read the series together since I had never read the books either and had only seen one or two movies.

So each night for our reading time we sat together and read until it became too slow for her and she wanted to read all on her own. So I let her and she began devouring the books.

It’s all things HP all of the time now, even 2 years later.

Last summer, my husband took her to Florida Supercon in Ft. Lauderdale and they both geeked out.

Ally decided to go as Luna Lovegood since she had a Ravenclaw robe and more than one wand and all we needed to get were a super long blond wig and Luna’s amazing sunglasses.

When they arrived at Florida Supercon people started asking to have their photo taken with her and it made her day, probably week. She thought it was so cool and fun!

I love that she was able to have that experience and enjoy a special day with her daddy.
